Brentaal IV
Brentaal IV is a rocky world inhabited by humans, Herglic and Skakoan, and an important center of trade, whose economy covers food, trade goods and financial services.
Brentaal IV is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Uvena.
History
Brentaal IV, a major center of trade and commerce, underwent notable changes after a decisive event in the galaxy. Formerly under Imperial rule, it saw power shift as the Rebel Alliance grew stronger, which upset politics and alliances and brought more instability. When the Empire tried to regain its hold, local resistance groups arose and slowly merged with the wider fight against the oppressive regime. With tensions rising, residents faced uncertainty while several factions competed for control. Throughout the upheaval the planet stayed a significant hub for trade, communications and finance.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Core Worlds North sector; the original game calls it the Sesswenna sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
