Bonadan

Bonadan is a polluted industrial world of eroded wastes and manufacturing centres. Duro, Humans, Hiitians, Timbu and Tiss'shar live there, and it trades in consumer goods, food, luxuries, technology, industrial goods and minerals.

Bonadan is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Altarrn.

History

Bonadan, a major centre of trade and industry, enjoys strong growth. Its governing body, the Corporate Sector Authority, kept firm control and cultivated a profitable business climate. Many corporations came for the booming economy, bringing technological advances and a surge in droid manufacturing. Prosperity brought difficulties such as pollution and environmental damage, and the Authority responded with steps to cut pollutants and protect native ecosystems and sustainability. This mix of economic expansion and ecological care helped shape Bonadan's special character.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Tingel Arm sector; the original game calls it the Glythe sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
