Belderone

Belderone is a world inhabited by Firrerreo, Humans and Stenax. Its sector is noted for military strength and once held a key Imperial shipyard, making it a place of strategic importance.

Belderone is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Wistril.

History

Belderone was once an Imperial stronghold of strategic value and went through serious upheaval. Its sector, home to an important Imperial shipyard, fell into a power vacuum. Local and outside factions competed for control, causing lengthy fighting and skirmishes. Even so, the inhabitants kept up some calm and stability. The world's martial reputation fed the continuing contest for supremacy. With the wider war escalating, Belderone was set to end up at the heart of major political and military developments.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim East sector; the original game calls it the Farfin sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
