Agamar
Agamar is a cold, rocky world covered in forests and settled by Humans. Its history has been shaped largely by an agrarian way of life rather than by heavy industry or trade.
Agamar is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Kessel.
History
Formerly a farming society, Agamar changed considerably as the course of the wider war turned and its people grew more hopeful. The world took in refugees and helped restore devastated planets, while home guard units arose to keep residents safe and orderly. Prominent figures, among them senior military leaders, came to confer on strategy, which made Agamar a significant meeting place. Even with this fame, farming remained central, feeding the local population and others in need across the galaxy.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mandalorian Space sector; the original game calls it the Calaron sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
