Orbital Shipyard
The Orbital Shipyard is the manufacturing facility that builds capital ships and starfighters in Star Wars: Rebellion. Both sides use it. It is deployed to a system, and the system needs at least one free energy point to take it.
In the game
A shipyard turns refined material into ships. Refined material is drawn from your stockpile while a ship is being built, and building slows down if the stockpile runs short. Shipyards stack: two at one system build twice as fast, three build three times as fast, and so on. The Advanced Shipyard builds ships more efficiently than the standard one.
To build, right-click a system's ship construction area, or have your droid agent use Build Ships, and pick a ship. You can send the new ship straight to an existing fleet, which is quicker than building it at the system and moving it afterwards. A shipyard can be marked reserved so the agent leaves it alone during automatic management.
Shipyards also repair. A damaged ship is fixed while it stays in orbit at a system with an orbital shipyard. Ships are never repaired while in hyperspace.
Stats
Cost, bombardment defense and the energy requirement come from the in-game encyclopedia. The processing rate comes from the game's data file, and the manual does not explain what it measures.
