Chewbacca

Chewbacca is an Alliance minor character in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia describes Chewbacca as a Wookiee from Kashyyyk who stands two meters tall. After the Empire conquered his world and made Wookiees a slave species, he was sold into slavery. A young Imperial officer named Han Solo freed him at the cost of his own career. Chewbacca felt he owed Solo a life debt and has stayed with him ever since. They lived as smugglers and worked for various crime lords, including Jabba the Hutt. Chewbacca is also first mate of the Millennium Falcon and keeps it running.

In the game

Chewbacca cannot serve as an admiral, a general or a commander. The game data marks Chewbacca as unable to betray their side.

The infobox values come from the game's data file. Where a skill shows two numbers, such as 40 + 20, they are the base and variance values stored in the game data; a single number means a variance of 0. The manual says ratings run from 0 to 150 or more.

Chewbacca starts the game on Yavin as a core Alliance character. He automatically tries to rescue Han Solo if bounty hunters capture him.
