Is there a wiki that details the classes of ships and capabilities as well as types of planets? If not, is there on in the works? While it might not be canon to the SW galaxy, it would be useful as there are a ton of ship and planet types to sort.

Ships have ingame descriptions which detail their abilities. There's nothing else in the works, primarily due to time and manpower constraints.

If theres no objections... i could start on a wikia one? i play the mod a fair bit, if we get a decent team together it could be a decent wiki.

Actually we had a ship wiki that came from Warlords. I will see about resurrecting that, because it is not working at the moment.

Turns out, Sins of a galactic empire has the word fag in it.. ive contacted wikia and they should fix it soon.

Added, just sign up lavo and ill make you an admin on it. Ill add the basic groundwork of each race tomorrow.

Well whattya want me to say now? I throw up a wiki for youse, and was gonna add some detailed pages, but instead im getting told.. Dont bother, we can do it local? Wikia is fine, if you want control you can have it.

It hasn't been updated in a super long time. It is needs a software upgrade and a makeover probably.

That Compenidum really isn't SoGE specific, besides it lacking virtually any reference to SoGE stuff. In addition, due to things such as the planets and abilities, I personally believe that Mick666's idea of a standalone wiki, regardless of it's location, is probably the best way to go.

I find Wikia lacking in support and the UI really bad.

Really? I got a response in 2 days, as they stated and had no troubles.

If the software or some other problem presents itself later down the track we can go with plan B. Transfering isnt hard.

Worst case scenario? Fed up, pack up and move out.
