Is there a way to add unlimited resources during a single player vs PC type of match?

Why is there such a small limit though? I could only build 2-3 Capital Ships along with 5 Squads of Fighters at max even?  It always says that it can't support any more ships? How can I add more ships to my starting fleet?

Stupid Double Post.

you have to mod the game yourself to change starting fleets.

OR you can simply use the reinforcement game type.
