I think that the Z'Ceptor makes more sense logically; If a ragtag group can't afford a whole starfighter, then why would they buy that much of an X-wing or Y-wing for the Y-tie ugly, TYE wing, X-TIE? The Z'Ceptor really makes sense because it looks just as though someone walked through Raxus Prime and picked up things just lying around and welded them together. It actuall reminds me of what happens when I have extra legos and decide to make a ship out of them.

Don't forget X-ceptors (X-wing fuselage with TIE Int wing panels).

 

And because Z-ceptor has nothing to do with the fighter itself, that's why. Your logic is flawed...

That tank droid is an official unit that was removed/replaced in episode 3. Apparently it was even created to the point of a fully generate cgi model but never made it into the final film. That reference pic is shown on the episode 3 snap shots. As for the attempt. Well it was going okay up the point of building the top of the model. I tried for almost 4 hours solid but couldnt' get the top section to look right so I went with another design. I doubt the model itself will surface any time soon as it looks butt ugly.

TIE Fighters and Y-Wings were the most common starfighters in existence at the beginning part of the GCW. So its not hard to see large, well-preserved hulks of either fighter floating around after a large battle. Interceptors were rarer so they had to put it together with other ships in a creative way.

I was thinking of trying to make an EaW model of the tank too...I wish there were more pictures of it than just the one perspective...I may still make the attempt...

 

Edit: Lol, I found another picture of that cut RotS CIS tank in my SW picture archive. Didn't even know I had it.

and me, lol. there's a few innaccuracies I've been wanting to edit on it...just haven't had the opportunity. His model for it is extremely well-done though.

I've been waiting for someone to put out a Orbital Shuttle and a Combat Escort Carrier, but they haven't surfaced yet, so...yeah

Yea...Before EaW came out I was hoping the Combat Escort Carrier was in. Needless to say I was disappointed.

Couldn't you just reskin a missle trail blue?

You can't, sice the trail is a particle emmission....thats why, you get a long trail if its fast and a short trail if its slow.

It's possible; you just have to make it a spawning event that will Buzz_droids
