September 24, 200620 yr Why make a new design when one is already right there for you? That's the big thing with EAW. Why make the tartan patrol cruiser when you have the lancer frigate? why make a TIE scout when you have the TIE interceptor? why the fake assault frigate when there already is an assault frigate? why make a TIE mauler when there already is a TIE tank thing? sheesh, the EAW devs must have been full of themselves to make up a bunch of their own units instead of using canon ones
September 24, 200620 yr They had to make up a lot of units to get it into the right timeframe, but seeing as how they included A-Wings and Mon Calamaris it wouldn't have been so hard just to reuse older units :. But of course then nobody would buy the expansion, would they?

October 9, 200620 yr It's mainly because the idea of having a race be outside the force is extremly ridiculous :/ I mean if medichlorians are in everyone no matter if they can use the force or not how are they outside the force?
