Your demo extractor was awesome guys, but we need a new extractor for the final game... The one we've got from the other guys kind of stinks.  It seems to cause crashes when you change certain things.

Thats what I meant... fortunately I found a good extractor at Lucasfiles.  I'm modding away!  ;D

wow i am a dumbass... heh it works, you just move the meg file over the extractor...  now time to try my modding skills

We need a EAW MEG EXTRACTOR :/

I put the DOS eaw extractor in my dadat folder, ran it and it extracted all the files. it was as simple as that for me.

well i had that problem before, after i use Kaelics MEG Extractor it works for me:

 

Just a tip extract all *.meg in that order (only the *.meg at the Data Folder & Patch.1.2 must be installed)

 

Models.meg

*your-language*Speech.meg

Music.meg

Shaders.meg

Movies.meg

Cinematics.meg

Textures.meg

Maps.meg

Patch.meg

Config.meg

 

For editing i use the program " Notepad++"

And dont forget that u should make a Copy of the files u change.

 

I play now 12 hours with modifies files n no crashes or story hangs.
