What exactly is UPnP? Does it open up ports that shouldn't be open?
It allows host computers to communicate with routers and request ports to be opened and forwarded to it.  There is no support for restricting hosts, or any way to warn users that a computer wants certain ports open, so most commercial oriented routers don't support it (like mine, unfortunately).
