I'm a bit annoyed because sometimes it takes a long time for my fleet(s) to reach a destenation. I wanna know where i can change it so that they move in a overall speed. there can (must) be some diffrence but no so slow...

any idea how?

Acutly most people want it slower, but pm steller or wait for him to post here and he can tell you

You'll have to extract the Spaceunitscapital.xml, Spaceunitsfighters.xml, Spaceunitsfregates.xml and Spaceunitscorvettes.xml.

 

Then open each with Wordpad or Context. Hit Ctrl+F and type Max_Speed. It should scroll you down to it. Edit it how you wish. If you want to modify the Hyperspace speed, Hit Ctrl+F and type Hyperspace_Speed, edit it how you wish. Don't forget to do this for all (capital, fighters, corvettes and fregates).

also edit traderoutes.xml, every trade route also has a hyp speed of its own.  there are also a few other files, that have speed aswell, gameconstants.xmp, dont remember but factions.xml and singleplayercampaign.xml might also have some hyper info.
