Thanks. I think I'll wait to send you the model until I finish the code and particles....Getting those "modding" abilities to work will be a toughy.

I think that everyone's unit should be a hero unit with their screen name as the unit's name. That would be sweeeeeeeeeeeet. It'd be like a PFF smash bros, in fact it'd be cool too if you could make a game mode or map that was heores only kinda like mos eisly assualt on SWBF2. Everyone would have to pick what faction there hero is on and have them evened up a bit. Then we could all play online one day being our own units and have fun blowing the crap out of each other

Space: Modified Vengeace-Class Frigate (Shielded) with mass-drivers replaced with Hypervelocity guns, which has the Bothawui ability in galactic (detect fleet movements), cloaking, and power shields (no suicide), (if possible, orbital bombardment with Hypervelocity guns...depending on limitations).

The Ebon Hawk was more of...a shared ship.

I'd go with Endar Spire...maybe someone else could use the Ebon Hawk, or we could just ask Mikan to throw it in for kicks... ;D

yeah maybe also mikan ive droped the lighting got something much better........i used the hyper-whatever projectile and stuck it to the At-At man this make a big bang on land ;D

Anyways, it would be hard to make the whole "hero battle" unless you made two special buildings(one for each faction) and made them build heros only. Then it wouldn't be that hard......Hey, I could do it...seriously......

Consider this: If you're adding an infantry unit, you can copy groundinfanty.xml, rename it modinfantry.xml, erase everything, replace it with this

<GroundInfantry_Units>
</GroundInfantry_Units>

Then put your infantry's code in between there, and add this line to GameObjectFiles.XML

<File>modinfantry.xml</File>

 

How would this help? Afterwards, it would be easy to merge it with other mods. We could put the files in the main overite slot(Star Wars Empire at War\Gamedata\Data\XML), and play other mods.

 

Like IA2: I can fight General Grievous,

Or LoW, some of those space ships can gang up on Thrawn.

We can do 4 vs 4 max in skirmish and 1 vs 1 in Campaign. Unless this can be somehow changed? Well gonna have to use ourselves and other heroes or just our heroes during normal conquests.

What? They'd need different skirmish maps for hero mode, with the two "hero buildings" only.

No there not Spiders self destruct after 1 hit. And orange modding stormies are totally different.......wait......this is a modding spidy!!!!!

New Idea: we could add a new faction and a building for each of those factions. Then online, we can each be our own faction...and spam our own units...and duke it out...Free-For-All! (with FoC this will be even easier). This won't even be nescesscary.
