So everyone has been wondering for a while or used to. "Is Leia going to be in the game?" I am still wondering this because she isn't mentioned in the unit list, yet Luke isn't either but its confirmed hes in. Is this the same situation with Leia?

Its Red Squadron, Rogue Squadron isnt created until sometime after RotJ if I'm not mistaken.

Rogue squadron was formed from the remnants of Red Squadron immediately after Yavin IV. They participated in many of the major operations since then, Hoth, Endor, Bilbringi, Borleias. The List goes on.

There has been a small icon of Leia and Chewbacca for the Falcon on one picture, but there's no way of knowing if that was just for a singular mission.

 

Perhaps she could be useful for diplomatic missions, but as that aspect is no longer in the game, there would no point in that inclusion!

I don't think anything has been released on Leia but up until the ANH or about a week before she was a Senator in the Imerial Senate? and Princess of Alderaan i suppose if she does anything or if she's in she'll just be a spy?

Thawn is right, she would be useless unless she was a diplomat (which you can't have) or a spy, which we alredy have plenty of.

Something that would have been cool to add, based on her interactions with the Ewoks, is for Leia to be able to rally a planet's species to the Rebels' side.

again I hope this is fixed in an expansion. Would be a good balance to palpatine who would be able to corrupt a population.

well maybe she is useful as a booster for the tropps, and maybe she will be modded... right?

Well if the game is based on the timeline and this goes to A New Hope, she should be in otherwise the game isn't accurate now is it?
