January 15, 200620 yr As delphi stated on the old forums. Those are the minimum Requirements. Ebgames states that as well by saying those stats are the required ones to play. Delphi Stated Recommended Spec NOT Min would be around: Windows 2000/XPIntel 1.8 GHz512 MB RAM128 MB Video or better56k +
January 15, 200620 yr Activision Germany gave this commentary:I would like to mark that RAM is the most important factor!512 MB are for liquid playing in higher resolutions a must, more are always good. RAM of the graphic card is rather secondary. Straight if many units are on the map, help more RAM importantly! We are playing with a P4 3.2 GHz with 1 GB RAM and a GEFORCE 6600. Runs in highest detail stages on 1280x1024 (without Antialiasing naturally) without large interruptions. http://www.sw-eaw.de/jpg/banner6.jpg

January 15, 200620 yr man i was so worried about the requirement s that i upgraded my computer with more ram and a new graphics card so now this game should run amazingly on my new computer "Nothing beats a good blaster at your side"Han Solo My screen name online is (PFF)Jedi_Mike
January 15, 200620 yr I wish there was a maybe. My laptop is below mim req. BUT should be able to play it(with some lag). Ex. My laptop can play Rome Total war with MASSIVE unit sizes(9000+units) on the map and have shorter loading times and less lag than my above mim req desktop. So EaW shouldn't be a problem for it even though my computer is below Mim. Req.(hey, EaW has less units on the map)man i was so worried about the requirement s that i upgraded my computer with more ram and a new graphics card so now this game should run amazingly on my new computerYou didn't need to do that. Most computers can run games that require more ram and such than the computer has(read above) http://www.lucasforums.com/images/avatars/tiedefender.jpgMay the force be with you, always. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/susangillan/EDF-Avatar-X-Wing.jpg http://www.userbars.com/galerie/images/files/3/4/ffuser.jpghttp://www.pixelpwnage.com/sigs/grouptag.jpg.Check for Updates!...Imperial Assault II Mod for Empire at War!!.....Empire at War Nexus, Modding for a Galaxy Far Far Away!!!.......Use the Spell Check Feature People!!!!.........International Battlefront Clan!!!!!.....

January 15, 200620 yr These are such comp friendly specs, and it's great to see since my comp is an aging 4 year old 2 GHz P4. Most RTS games require 1.6 Ghz minimum, so I say a round of applause for Petroglyph for making this game more accessible to older machines
January 15, 200620 yr w00tMy comp will slay this game. I reckon that Ill be playing with highest settings and high ant.Reselution will suck tho, as my 24'' dell quit on me a week ago so I have to use a crappy 17'' crt. Most RTS games require 1.6 Ghz minimum, so I say a round of applause for Petroglyph for making this game more accessible to older machines I just hope that they didn't sacrifice gameplay for lower specs, such as unit limit, map size, etc. My Death Star is bigger than your Death Star!"The XML is strong with this one!"http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/0/teradyn.png
January 16, 200620 yr Wow, Fosh, that's not a laptop, that's a desktop replacement. Good luck taking that place somewhere . I had a power notebook like that too, and I switched it for a tablet. No point in having a 2nd desktop for me .
January 16, 200620 yr I just hope that they didn't sacrifice gameplay for lower specs, such as unit limit, map size, etc. they did but pop cap mods will fix it those specs are like 1.8th of my rigs power lol I will enjoy the 60 or so space cap and a 30 or so ground cap.
January 16, 200620 yr what if I don't know wether my computer can handle it or not? I have 2 computers only one can be hooked up to the internet at on time and the better of the 2 can play jedi acadamy with a lot of glitiches, but it can run rise of nations and operation genisis. hmmmmmmmmmmm I have no Idea..............
January 16, 200620 yr My computer is so far above the recommended specs that the game is going to ship with a white flag because it already surrenders. Of course for those folks who say this game should have better specs, for what? The specs are on the level that we always wanted, they're on the level of what we always dreamed Rebellion could be. Hell the specs are just fine the way they are.
