If Hero Death is turned off online...

Featured Replies

and you kill Luke, will the death star be destoryable?

luke skywalker

a pilot of red squadron, the only unit that can destroy the death star.

This is on the basis Delphi told us that he added the option to multiplayer that you can turn off hero death.

Well....we don't know how Red Squadron is destroyed though. Is it destroyed individually, or does the whole squadron have to be gone??

Luke may have an ability like Vader where everyone else in the flight group has to be destroyed before he can take damage.

when they say unit they mean that red squadron is the only thing that can destroy the Death Star

There is no option to turn off "hero death." Only to disable all heroes, and that's only for individual skirmish missions, which lack the Death Star.

When did Delphi tell us that? Was it in relation to Skirmish or Campaign mode?

Oh right he told us it could be heroes could be turned off, not have heroes stayed dead.

Still what will happen if heroes aren't on?

Remember that Red Squadron is more than a Fighter Squadron. It is a Fighter Group. Red Group At Yavin had in total 36 X-wing fighters (1 Wing) and at Endor Red Squadron was 2 wings inc Rogue Squad and a number of other Elite Squadrons.

i dfidnt think that hero's could die ever? i thought that they disappeared to heal i can remember typing in a forum about that when it was first announched.

Yea, I meant in online mod delphi told us we could turn heroes off. But Teradyn maybe right, may be only in skirmish mod.

Again, its similar to Battle Front 2 in that way, heroes just "Take a leave of absense"

as for Red Squadron, its 18 X-Wings and 12 Y-Wings at Yavin

I don't think it is, since that would suck for the Rebels... take out the Death Star and it regenerates after a bit.

 That would be hilarious. The Imperials just dip it in a bacta tank and let it rest for a while.

Go Leafs go!
