I'd rather wait for the game 2 more weeks, and not have to download 5 patches, just to iron out all the bugs, I agree with you, we should be optimistic.

 

On the other hand, there wasn't any concrete news on the state of the game in quite a while, and coming out with something like this is not good. Not to mention that what we do hear, is mostly taken by the community as bad news (pop cap, etc.). What EaW needs right about now, is some good news. Maybe a demo, maybe a new trailer, maybe just a few new screens. But SOMETHING, sooner rather than later. The fanbase behaves like a pack of wild beasts when it comes to delays and similar, and it is best that they be thrown a bone.

I don't think (at least I hope not) that anyone is thinking anything bad about Petro, it's probably just disappointment, that the announcement wasn't mega-positive as was anticipated, but was rather negative.

Yeah I have no gripe With petroglyph. They are gods among men in the rts industry developer wise. Lucasarts i dont have much faith in but thats for whole other reasons.

 

 

and I think it is mainly cause i dont see why they delayed you from telling us right away it was released. Making it an Anticipated Big announcement coming next week made it seem positive and something to look forward too.

 

Seems to me Its Lucasarts screwing up and screwing us over again with thier lack of Customer relation Skills.

 

Delays shouldnt be planned events to release. if its delayed just say so
