Btw I forgot to mention that Little.B is now also a moderator and I first want him to help Siddus in the news area.

Cain, I thought that Darkmark was meant to be helping in the News Area.

I think I got demoted simply because I was... well, useless at it.

 

I do try, I just don't get hold of the info as fast as Siddus does. Not that anyone told me I was demoted... but... anyway, I don't know what I do now, but I'm sure I do it... I think.

 

I guess I help out Stellar with giving feedback for other people's Fan-fiction stuff, and am generally a little active. I suppose I must do something then.

Darkmark you are not demoted. its just that LB always seem to have some news to post.

It's all fine. I figure as far as the news forums goes there will always be those in a better position to get it than me. I do my best. It's the most I can do.

 

Little.B's a good choice though. He has similar access to new news as Siddus does.

Then Why isn't DMUK a Moderator as well. He has close links to news. On Lucasforums he says that he has had material for ages that he is not allowed to release.

I mentioned not to talk about this, its one of those big mistakes moderators make. We all make mistakes since we're human. ANyways congrats Nevets and Little.B

But Ghostly...You are an Administrator. If you think that you should be a moderator again I would be more than willing to........

yeha sorry Ghostly but i'd also (next time) liked to be Considered for Moderatorhood next time theres a position open.

maybe, i have a concern for this though

 

with people who ask/apply for moderdom, it becomes increasingly harder to determine who will actually be good enough to mod and who isnt.

 

im not saying that all of the current moderators are the only fit canadiates, but as nevets and popcorn have prolly learned by this time, they are like the 17-18th members which is sort of unnessecary, since at most i think that we would only need about 10 moderators, 1 for each forum to look after, and i feel that the rank of moderator is just being given out as a reward or gift(dummy), and not based on actual competence. excluding the new moderators, i have only ever seen at most, 8 moderators excersising thier power over the forum.

I hear your concerns Gen. Vader. I have noticed I am one of many moderators here, unlike the EaW.net were im about one of five or six. As long as Moderator-ship is given out excessively than I dont think it is that big of a deal. Though I do think that Moderators that dont do their job shouldnt be allowed to still be a Mod. Of course, I speak from a newcomers point of view though but that's my thoughts.

There maybe tons of moderators but ever think of work and school coming in the way so one day I might get stuck in school and some troll signs up and spams the forum like a maniac and then 4 people start posting virus threads, pming people random crap and only barely any moderators? I'm not saying it could happen but something near those lines could happen and did in a small scale.

 

second yes it may be unnecessary but also it keeps the forum safe since if someone starts a flame bye bye flamer threads. Dummy is a bot.

 

I also see people post "Make him a mod make him a mod"

Then when I or someone else does "Why did you make him a mod?!"
