I went thru most of the X-Wing/TIE Fighter series games and plenty of other sources to compile that list, and I still have alot of other sources left to dig thru.

I think I will name mine Enterprise, James T. Kirk, Bird of Prey, and so many other relative names. J/K

Yeah good idea. Maybe name ships after important battles or such (maybe even heroes). I'll probably keep some of the names and make up a few. More than likely I will be concentrating on the actual game and rename ships if I have a moment.
