Don't know how many of you are into this game, but Operation Flashpoint has to be one of my favourite games of all time. :)

And the first proper sequel has finally been confirmed.

Here are the very limited details. :)

Tried to open the site, but all I got was a Proxy error. Maybe my work computer is FUBAR'd or something. Can you tell me what the game is about?

The first one is set during the 80s on an imaginary set of islands near Russia. The plot aint that important, basically it's a great game because you can take command of squads of up to 12 men. You an drive cars tanks and apc's. You can fly attack choppers, transport chopper, A-10's Su-25's and parachutes. You can drive boats. There''s loadsa real world weapons, from handguns to assault rifles to heavy machine guns to law launchers to sniper rifles. The islands are each 100km2 and the whole island loads up every time you play the mission. The game makes BF 1942 look small. :) It rocks :)
