Since we seem to be getting more personal i was just wondering what every wants/wanted/turned out doing for a living. Im torn between 2 things right now one of them is a Lawyer, ive always been good at debating and such but i would also like to be a Physicist, im probably the only person who finds Particle Physics amazing, (atoms, quarks, leptons, etc.) Im constantly debating which one id like to be one week ill have one in mind, the other another. So what do/did/are you guys?

Law student myself. Constitutional law, more specifically. My goal is maybe to litigate for the ACLU, defend people's freedoms, yada yada yada, all that sappy pseudo-heroic stuff. Maybe make a leap into politics afterwords?

Computer Information Science major... To be shoved into a cold, dark room and told to fix a computer owned by a person who shouldn't have one for $7.25 a hour... My most likey-to-happen dream is to be hired by a computer game developer that is being created by some computer/gaming geek friends of mine back in New York and (this part may not happen) actually help create a successful game.

Uh, I'd probably end up being a writer... but they get paid nothing so I'd also have a second job it looks like. What that will be I have no clue.

 

I wouldn't have any problems being indoctrinated into game design I suppose. I just figure that area is very competative, so the likelihood of me sneaking in there is almost null.

Sure same, but the BBC is even more competative than game design.

 

You'd have to have a damn good script to get in there. Plus, a lot of it is done freelance... having said that, they have so much junk on nowadays that I could definately make something better. It's all a matter of pushing. It would be pretty cool if we both could get in there though.

I would like to right for Doctor Who...the last series was pretty laughable at times IMO.

Make a superconductor metal, too! That way, Enron-type companies can't gouge us for more money, like they did in California a few years back.

For me, it would be to build the first atmospheric and space aircraft.

 

I think only two companies would be able to do that, Boeing and Airbus or Dassault. As I plan to work in Dassault company after my studies .. perhaps .. perhaps I'd be in this project

If I wasn't becoming a lawyer, I'd love to get back into being in the music scene. I'd make my own melodic death metal band, sorta like Opeth, 'cept heavier.

I am a robotics technician I've been doing this for 10 yrs. My girlfriend ( soon to be wife just hasn't pop the question) is very well off. Soon to be mooching off her. HA HA I'll be playing SWEAW all day long drinking beer. Just don't tell her that. LOL

What if she comes in here by chance ? You'll be having a nice "argument" lol

 

I donno what I want my job to be but i'm doing co-op at a "The Electrical and Plumbing Store" if that counts lol. I wanted to be a pilot but that didn't work out well but still might happen. Game dev is still up in the air so I donno.

I want to be a novelist... Better make that a best selling Novelist

i follow gen.vaders dream of game designing, but i like fps's more then he does, i still like rpgs and rts's though
