Well, I'll think of that when actually modding. So, anyone interested? Any ideas for units? The Goa'uld do need some fleshing out like.

Apophis? Yu? other systen Lords? Osiris? If you want to get silly add in Ra. He's dead by the end of the film but would be nice to see that stupid death mask again.

Question: How will you impliment the stargates system of transportation?

I was thinking of maybe you had to pay a "power" cost to allow you to move through the stargate.

Yes but how would the transportation itself be implemented? Has that problem been solved?

I'm thinking that infantry can be sent through the stargate and be taken by ship, but vehicles can only use ships.

The Puddlejumper can go through the Stargate- as can the UAV.

Well yes their would be some acceptions. So can the F-302 mind.

Yeah, my friend and I were going to do a Stargate mod for this... So, uh, wondering if you've gotten any help so far (Last post: August 22nd)... I would like to help you. I've got some ideas, and I can probably code a little and make some models (although they're probably not going to be extremely good.)

I'm working on a ha'tak model right now... Haven't doen anything today because I just spent like 4 hours trying to fix my freakng router... Had to buy a new one... But here's a rather bad model of a pistol that I did about a year ago in GMAX: (totally unrelated to Stargate, but just an idea of what I've done before...)

I haven't done a whole lot of 3D modeling before, though I know how to do it... Might use something different than GMAX...

Oh stargate Mod hope this will be good and that it will include diffrant system lords with thier diffrant insgnia on them or the faction viewer ;D with me ill just play the Goa'uld!

 

Planets can be renamed i think to maybe posible galaxie expansion hehe.

Yeah, um, who else is still helping?  I started working on a new ha'tak model today....

Just got a idea to offer.

 

The Stargate would be 1 command point which one or the other commands. If its neutral it would go to the team who touchs it.

 

Heroes would be SG1 and the space battles would be like those in shows, (from what I saw) there would be small skirmishs. If you discover a planet with space capabilities then the advancements would go up and up.

 

For skirmish battles there will be SG troopers and normal earth soilders. Then the aliens they meet.

I was thinking a few more units for the Goa'uld could be

ground:

Ashrak assassin(stealth powers)

First Prime(Gives 25% attack bonus to nearby allies, has three gaurds with him)

Zatarc(suicide bomber)

Baal

Aris Boch(bounty hunter)

Unas(really strong, lots of health)

Apophis(with his energy shield and all)

space:

Al'kesh bomber
