Oh yeah, I heard it today. He was a genius in creating awesome futuristic stories and for me belongs to writers like Frank Herbert, Isaac Assimov and Ray Bradburry. One of my alltime faves is "Westworld". :(

I rated your vid and commented, Mad. Would it help if we favorite it?

Fives stars from my side, Mad. Would Tofus idea help in any way? I will promote that video in other forums. Should get at least some more hits.

Ian McDiarmid: Suspected heart attack 8O:?:(

Hehe- Ian McDiarmid and Ian McClellan (sp?) both play principal characters in the version of MacBeth that we're using to supplement our readings in AP Lit right now. Today was the first day of it, and I found myself desperately hoping for McDiamid to shout "Unlimited power!" and attempting to fry MacBeth (who was portrayed by McClellan) in Force lightning, resulting in a cry of "YOU SHALL NOT PAAAAAASS!" and an awesome display of nerdiness that would make every geek this side of Mexico suddenly cry tears of joy without knowing why.

My- Ode to Joy gets around!
We watched that video so many times at Boy's State in Tallahassee... oddly enough, the American Legion put on the program, and the American Legion personnel were the ones playing it.

Ha ha, cool find. Love it!

Ok, I just had one of the creepiest, yet coolest dreams ever. I dreamed that the world was overrun by zombies.

In the beginning, we were being informed on the news about some strange new disease. Next thing you know, everyone is bording up their homes as zombies start pouring into our neighborhood. In one part of the dream we all escaped to this fortified hotel where we were supposed to be safe, but somehow one of our fellow residents got infected and we had to evacuate. During the process I got separated from my wife, only to find out later that her and some of the other survivors made it to a fortified shopping mall (like Dawn of the Dead). Somehow I managed to find a working van, drove to the mall and while doing so plowed through undead hordes. When I got there, it was too late as the mall had been overrun and they had got my wife. Depressed and accepting defeat, I walked up to the top floor of the mall where one of the stores was some sort of disco dance floor. (What it's doing in a mall I don't know). Behind me I can hear the dead following me up. When I reach the room I take a seat and realize that across the room is zombie sitting in one of the chairs. It appears that it's just sitting there listening to the music too. It saw me but didn't make an immediate move to attack me. However, I can hear the groaning of the other zombies as they lumber up the stairs toward us.

That was the end of the dream.

So... in the event of a zombie war, run to the nearest disco place. Got it. :P

Everyone else has better dreams than me. I dream that I kill people who I know, enjoy it way too much, realize that I was far too lucid in that dream for my own mental health, am convinced that it's real and that I'll probably go to prison for my actions, and then wake up and feel tremendously guilty. I remember literally pinching myself in that dream, feeling the pinch and saying, "Oh, crap- this is real. I am so boned."

A magic unicorn? OPEN SPAM SEASON! I [/i]must[/i] catch up to Mad, now! I must! (I actually think I'm in second place behind him now that Scath, SOCL, and most of the other big posters have stopped showing up)
