Is there any way to add cards without replacing an existing character, ship, or troop?

Is that something you could just change via notepad or something equally simple or are we talking a major re-programming?

Major reprogamming, like dis-assembling the code, bringing it into readable a form, like c++ code, then finding the responsible parts, changin them, compiling, testing (takes the longest time actually), ...

 

Apart from, that disassembling is not legal, it would be a hell of a job and way above my capacities, I think

*sigh* They should make Rebellion open-source, then maybe we can get a few half-decent programmers to fix it up

Um, isn't that more or less what Greg's going to do with Rebellion Reloaded? That's another thing for him, leave the game open enough that we can add lots of different ships. Ideally a couple of hundred, then you could have a fleet where each ship is unique. Unless you can have a random model generator for Mon Cal cruisers. Oh, brainwave. Mon Remonda is a Rebel equivalent of an SSD, we need one in the new game/mod!!!
