If you're in on of the five cities mentioned, chances are Imersive Media's car drove by your street capturing every angle with an 11-lens camera mounted on the roof. Video taken with this camera captures 30-frames-per second that are embedded with GPS data to create the impressive 360-degree views seen.

 

Google's not the first company to have a Street View thing, but first of the major map sites to do it. I'm sure they will popularize it and everyone will be doing it.

 

There are several different sketches in there. In retrospect, they might have benefited from somebody saying, "And now for something completely different!" in between...

I liked the cruxifiction one.

Heh- unfortunately for you all (Because I know you like to see my beautiful, wonderful, brilliant, and, above all, modest face) I'm the best camera-man out of the three of us, so I wind up shooting most of the vids. Plus I'm a director of sorts- I can only do cameos. Besides, I appeared in that one. I'm "Cool Chris."
