It supposed to be a mod for Star Wars Homeworld, which I don't know either. Anyone familiar with these things?

There's more info here http://swnr.themaw.net

A little.. I always wanted to have a mod for Homeworld, and when it was there, I didn't want it anymore

What's Homeworld?

What's Star Wars Homeworld?

Ehm I thought you meant a Star Wars Mod for Homeworld or Homeworld Cataclysm...

The Star Wars for Homeworld.... The story is based ona different ending of Endor. Gank should be able to give more details, after all he is working in that mod...

So, TK421 is right and it's a mod for a game called Homeworld, then...?

Homeworld - THE 3D Space RTS game, game of the year... dozens of other awards. Basically you play as a fleet, with your world destroyed, you control your mothership and to go back to your homeworld. The graphics are stunning, the game play is just beautiful, the sound is awesome.

SW:New Rebellion is a total conversion for the game. This makes the game use Star Wars ships.. with excellant models and new ships coming out, it is certainly worth downloading!

As I gather it, Homeworld 2 isn't out yet, is it?

Nope, but we are waiting and after I saw the preview video in my games mag, I was also drooling

Sure we are waiting for it...

You don't sound so enthusiastic, Trejiuvanat!

Trejiuvanat stand from his chair and runs in teh house screaming: I WANT HOMEWORLD 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. He hits his head against a wall when he considers the wait and more wait until it comes ot Costa Rica. I WANT IT, I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!

He starts trembling and saliva comes out slowly from his mouth as he sees Homeworld 2 screenshots on the net.

Exhausted he sits down again.

Enthusiatical enough, Scathane?

Great!

So, TK421 is right and it's a mod for a game called Homeworld, then...?

Scathane.. naturally TK is right

TK is mostly right, except when he isn't at his post.

Nice avatar, Scathane.

Thanks Trej. By the way, TK421, If you'd like, I've made an excellent avatar for you. You can find it at http://image1ex.villagephotos.com/pubimage.asp?id_=2066884 If you paste it into your profile, it'll show up as your avatar.

TK 421 at his post, that's the last time he was there. Perhaps you can find it back, TK!

"But it was so artistically done." -Grand Admiral Thrawn

"The history of the universe...is the handwriting produced by a minor god in order to communicate with a Demon." J.L. Borges

"No one is anyone, one single immortal man is all men. Like Cornelius Agrippa, I am god, I am hero, I am philosopher, I am demon and I am world, which is a tedious way of saying that I do not exist." J.L. Borges

Looking at the innovations you made to your signature, I get the idea that you're a fan of a certain J.L. Borges...

How did you guess?

He was probably the best latinamerican writer ever (died in 1986). At least for me, that is.

What kind of genre could we place his work in?

Fantastic Realism and perhaps Magic Realism.

What kins of central plots and subjects does he prefer?

He focused mainly on philophical issues. He was an erudite, and he worked the topics out with figures out of other cultures myths. HE would write from the perspective of a viking, or from a muslim, or the minotaur.

he did not write novels, only tales, and some short essays.

You should read Michael Crichton's Eaters of the Dead, then. Although I guess it's not that philiosophical. But it's a nice concept to have a muslim in a Viking culture...

Wasn't that the book that was used to make 13th warrior?

I like more philosophical literature, I'll try to get it after I finish with the pile of books taht I stil have to finish/start/reread.
