Ok, so I saw the second episode of Heroes ... it was a lot better than the first. But, I'm forced to tape each episode now - House is on at the same time, and I'm afraid 'ol Greg has my limited attention spam for that hour segment.

Nevertheless, I'll be taping the episodes and watching them later.

Cool beans K. I'll try not to make posts talking about the episodes and thus giving away the plot and whatnot.

Here's the way I look at it. Heros and Futureweapons are on at the same time (8:00 CST). I have Fencing from 8-~11. I have no VCR. I can get my girlfriend (who HAS a VCR) to tape ONE show. I pick Futureweapons. That and I've been REAL disappointed w/ the latest batch of TV series.

AHHHH THEY DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

There is now another month-long break in the show, so I have to wait til mid-late April to see new episodes. I can't take it!!! The last three episodes have been uber ridiculous, and this last one ends on multiple cliff hangers, and now I have to wait a month to see more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are only a few more episodes left of this first season, but it is gonna be nuts!!! Last nights episode takes place in the future. Need I say more? If anyone is interested in watching, its Mondays at 9 on NBC. And for those of you from other worlds (or countries or whatnot), you can watch the entire season from the channels website at nbc.com. Just select Heroes and enjoy!!!

I'm still watching, but in Australia we're a little behind - latest episode had the cheer leader call her actual mum .. so, not sure how close that is to your episode. But things are getting interesting

Oh yeah. It was off the hook. And the best news is that it was confirmed a while ago that the new there will be a second season. That will be fun.

I look forward to the next season. I guess a lot will depend on how this season ends too.

 

I hope we get to see more fights between Sylar and Peter Petrelli.

I just realized that I hadn't posted here yet.

 

To make a long story short, the season finale was extremely CRAPTASTIC!!!

I cant believe that a show that was so strong all season would end soooo lame!

 

On the other hand, if anyone watches Lost, that season finale was fantastic!!!

I liked about 45 minutes of the finale the last 15 seemed rushed.

 

It would've been better perhaps to make the finale 90 minutes or 2 hours.

 

The 'final fight' between Petrelli and Sylar was a major let down for me.

 

For my money even though they didn't have any 'powers' Ando and Bennett seemed to have a large and decisive role in the grand scheme of things.

 

I am intrigued as to what part Mother Petrelli played in the plan Linderman made as she seemed to know what was going on.

Yeah, those were my feelings. The end was such a let down. It should have been 2 hours, like Lost was.

 

As for Nathan's mom and Linderman and all, Ive heard rumor that the next season will be like a "prequel", and will focus on Linderman, Nathan's mom, Hiro's dad, and all of that generation of people with special powers. In one episode, Linderman explained to Nathan that there used to be a group of heroes, but some fell to evil. I think the season will focus on that story.

I don't know I read somewhere that they were bringing in 4 or 5 new heroes one of which would be a boyfriend for Claire Bennett.

 

I hope that they at least touch on the fates of those in the aftermarth of the sylar confrontation.

That about sums it up. However, there is a possibility of Sylar returning, especially with the ending.

The season premiere was last night, but I was unaware. I watched football again. How I loathe myself right now.

 

I did, however, watch it online at NBCs website. Im glad that they are including some of the same characters. I wasnt sure if the whole season was going to based on Hiro's adventures in 1500s Japan...

"Heroes" starts in one or two weeks on german television. The trailer looks nice, but I´m not sure if I´m gonna watch it, though "Jericho", which you´d said would be cool, was just average in my opinion.

Jericho is the shizzle. That starts Friday. And of course the mother of all shows, Lost, starts tomorrow. I am very excited for that. Probably more for Lost than Heroes.

We've had it for a while now over here, and whilst it started vaguely promising and refreshing, it's beginning to get a bit silly, IMO. But having just said that, it isn't without originality, so I would make your mind up yourself!

Due to the writers strike, there are only two episodes left. Next week is the season finale, and I am nervous. I hope the finale is better than last season...
