Well is it? I realize that you would loose the game but the mission is possible to do. I was tired of Luke running around and an espionage mission pinpointed him at Yavin. So for the hell of it I sent out an assasination mission on him. I was surprised it allowed me to order a mission that would loose the game for me, but it did. As it turned out he had moved again by the time my nohgris got there so I don't know the results that would have happened. It just makes me wonder if the game would actually allow him to die and me thus defeat myself.- GM Conway

Why would killing Skywalker loose the game for you?

I think that you have to have him, as well as Mon Mothma, in custody.

so assassination missions will only injure him at best. I did once manage to kill off Chewbacca once though.

The equation is very simple:

 

Major Characters-can't die

 

Minor Characters-can....

 

That's: Vader/Palpatine and Leia/Solo/Skywalker/Mothma.

 

Poor old Chewie is classed as a minor character....

Assassination mission targeting major chars will injure them Injured chars can be captured easier.

Assasination missions targeting minor chars will kill them. Chars on a planet you destroy usually die too. mninor chars escaping a huge blockade, die.

Just got promoted. Promoted Chars cannot be killed, they can go to the RPG and lose more linbs to ritual sacrifices. I'm running low on organs, though.

No a quick way to promotion is to click twice on the submit button in five-second intervals (with a 48000 bps connection in a 56.7 modem in COsta Rica). That would be part of the dark side of the force. Instead I was using the post to proclaim my unrestrainable joy and lvoe for the entire universe (exception: Bush, saddam, Zoot, my spanish teacher, and my history teacher.).

You might want to add Black Holes to your exeption list. They tend to be pretty unlovable once you're skirting their event horizon...

It used to be mine too, because I like history a lot. But I don't like the teacher, he is boring, there is anestesia in his voice, and I doubt he uses desodorant...Almost the same goe sfor my spanish teacher....
