I wish.. actually, it is a mundane job that pays alright. What is better about my economic positin however, is I lost a lot of bills when I broke up with my GF. Moved to a cheaper place with free cable and hydro (electricity to those of you that don't have it ).

 

So basically I am a bachelor now and am able to be as frugal as I want.

 

And my job is a supervisor at a call centre... though less annoying than my American and British counterparts

*snaps fingers* Darn its never a firefighter! j/k But that sounds like a good setup with the free cable and hydro. And at least its a job.

And then there's LaForge who pops in and out every so often.

I must admit that Scath's disappearance has always been a mystery to me. Mask still pops in every once in a while.

DJ44 vanished when he mentioned something about personal troubles (with family I believe). He never came back.

Does anyone ever wonder if maybe forum members who never came back died? I don't mean to put anyone in a bad mood for the rest of the day, it's just... If I were hit by a car tomorrow and died, you folks would have no way of knowing of my demise. For all you know I could have just said, "The hell with this site!" and picked up and left...

 

That sort of thing keeps me up at night from time to time- part of the reason I like seeing an old face return.

While it doesn't keep me up at night ( I tend to think that RL eventually wins out.. always, so don't burst my pink little bubble with your negativity ), I have thought about how people who post in forums like this one would not know if something happened to someone that they chat with online. It's one of the drawbacks to an online community

 

So for now, just have faith that they will come back eventually, like I did.
