Thanks to The Grudge 2. I went to go see it last night at midnight (since it comes out today) and oh my god it was freaky. Not scary like the first. Freaky. I am totally freaked out... I could barely sleep last night.. and then get up four hours later for work (that part sucked) but it was all worth it.... totally freak me out... So.... if you are interested... GO SEE IT!

Is it as scary as that... May have to see it.

I don't do scary movies. They contradict too much when they're in my head.

 

Voice 1: It was a movie. The SFX were cheesy. Nothing will happen to you.

Voice 2: Holy crap, a noise! You're gonna die! It's a killer! YOU GONNA DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!

Thus I don't like scary movie very much...

I saw "Saw II" yesterday... Now that was freaky!!!!

Saw is a good horror series. I am looking forward to Saw III.

 

I saw Stay Alive last night. That was actually pretty decent. It's based on a video game...that KILLS!!!

THat film seems rather cool... I have to get to see it.

Didn't it deny getting a rating because they felt that it was for, "A specific audience?" It looked rather dumb to me, and most films which get no rating (1 to 5 stars, rating, not Pg-NC17 rating) tend to suck.

Dude, critics suck butt. They are the biggest bunch of bugger biters in the world. Freak them all! I never listen to critics. If anything I'll listen to word of mouth from peers. But you can't expect these 50 year-old fruits to like the same stuff a 20 something would.

The only real 'scary' movies I ever saw were Aliens and Blair Witch Project.

I have to admit, the ending to BWP was hella scarry the first time.

I found the ending kinda creepy but it didn't scare the living s*** out of me.

The trailer for "SawIII" is out, now... It looks every bit as bloody and violent as the last two were supposed to be...

Totally cant wait til Saw III. Looks real good. I loved the second one, totally rad. i was always interested to see Stay Alive, but noone else i knew was. So.. have yet to see it. And critics do blow, its always best to listen to your friends and whatnot especially because you know their tastes and they know yours so you can judge off that usually.

It's based off the japanese version. They have a different sense of horror ... slower, more thought provoking I think than some of the US horror movies.

Unfortunately yes! There´s a lack of fantasy in the hollywood studios.

 

Since a couple of years I´m collecting dvds of old splatter/horror movies from the 70s and 80s. One of my alltime faves is "Zombie 2".

It's based off the japanese version. They have a different sense of horror ... slower, more thought provoking I think than some of the US horror movies.

 

You know, that might be exactly why i like it.. either that or just because its different from the slash and hack stuff we have here flooding the US....
