Umm, what now? You saw the new Turtles movie? How could you, Rob? We all know that the only Turtles we can allow into our hearts are A) The original comicbook turtles B) The original cartoon turtles and (At a stretch) C) The live-action-movie turtles. All other turtles, including the godawful "X-treme" style cartoon turtles, are to be discounted.

So how was it?

It was surprizingly good. It followed the movie story line, so you could call it "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles IV" and I wouldnt have a problem with it. It is very reminiscent of the characters from the original cartoon series and movie, so even though it is done in a new animation with a bit more attitude, it still felt like the TMNTs of old. And the ending alludes to a sequel (or TMNT V if you will), so I will be looking forward to that.

But on another note, I do not feel that TMNT surpassed 300. 300 is still the best movie of the year, until Spidey comes out.

Pathfinder looks kick ass. I guess I'll have to go see it.

Its got Karl Urban in it! I must admit to being a great fan of him.

Sometimes its nice to sit back and watch people hacking away with bloody swords.

What a very virile way of looking at things... I perfectly agree.

Didn't Def post that link already?

Yes he did but I just love that vid!

If you liked Shawn of the Dead check this out.

I can not wait for this movie!

Great! It´s the same dumb guys of "Shawn of the Dead" in another scenario. Looks like another cool Fun-Movie.

So, who else is gonna be seeing Spidey 3 this weekend?

So, who else is gonna be seeing Spidey 3 this weekend?

It's coming out this weekend?

i hope to see it this weekend... but.. it all depends on the chick.. for some reason..

Heck yeah man. Comes out Friday, but due to work and location issues, I shall have to wait until Saturday. It is totally unlike me, for I generally like to go opening day to long-awaited films (ex-Star Wars, LotR, most of the Marvel movies...). I have skipped classes in high school and college to see certain movies, and I even

I read a few reviews and all in all it looks rather good. Do you guys recommend it?

yes, Hot fuzz is an awesome movie!

I really hope you're being sarcastic, SOCL...

Seeing it on Friday. Tickets are usually hard to come by, but fortunately a friendly parent is getting myself and some friends tickets during the day so that we can waltz on in without waiting in a long line.

Nope. The Army keeps me pretty busy. Odd because I saw Hot Fuzz about a week or so ago and didn't see an previews for Spiderman 3...

OMG I am almost peeing my pants with excitement for the movie. I was reading Spider-Man comics since I was but a young lad. My friends and I would swap comics during our cub scout camping trips. I am so excited that the movie decided to incorporate Venom. Im just wondering how they are going to fit in the alien symboite costume (the black ooze-looking thing) in to the movie. Its origins in the comics are...a tad ridiculous. There are two courses of action I see the movie taking to explain its appearance, but I will not say so as to not unintentionally release spoilers and ruin surprises. All I can say is that I am mad excited!

I really hope you're being sarcastic, SOCL...

Why is that, Tofu? Some people don't have the time, or desire, to so much as care about what movies are coming out. I personally don't care to spend $8 on a movie when it first comes out in theaters. I'll wait until it shows up at the local library, or until a friend buys/rents it.

But...but...it's...SPIDER-MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How, oh how can you wait THAT long to see it?!

Spider-Man is a very accomplished movie series that tells a fantastic story and truely brings the comic to life. Not seeing this movie in the theatre is like not seeing Star Wars of Lord of the Rings in the theatre, and waiting for the DVD release. Blasphamy!!!!!!!!

I didn't see Lord of the Rings until they came out on DVD. Well, except for Return of the King, but that nearly killed me sitting through all of that with my girlfriend-of-the-time, her brother, and his girlfriend.

GOSH!!! All you punks complaining about sitting still for 3 hours to see a movie!!! I was able to watch the Return of the King extended version (I think it was 4 hours) in one sitting! Stop your bellyaching and enjoy the show!
