Ya, I have a gunea pig as was warned about this problem when I thought about getting him a buddy. He seems to have homosexual tendancys though, so we thought it best to continue to let his think he is a cat and live alone. I hear that the pigs can even breed while they are in diffrent cages, quite the feat I imagine! I wonder if there would be a way to convince pandas to do the same thing. Actually, now that I think about it, I was at the Nashville Zoo some time ago and the red pandas (not the same as Great Pandas) were really going at it. Again, if you only the Great Pandas could be convinced to mate as such. For amusing facts, I heard on the radio once that Great Pandas are literally not attracted to one another. I also heard that in order to get them...excited, the keepers would (no joke) put a TV outside the cage with porn. I'm not sure if it was human porn, or panda porn, or humans dressed as pandas...
