Having noticed how quickly Empire at War runs in days. It got me thinking what is the maximum number of days Rebellion can go up to? does it get to 99999999 then crash? and how long do you think a full game in Empire at War will last given the speed at its slowest?

...does it get to 99999999 then crash?

It commits suicide when it gets to this day. After all the entire galaxy will have suffered multiple natural disaster by this stage, and all your characters, huddled together on the one Medium Transport you can still afford are so old, or dead* they can barely summon the strength to ignite their light sabers, let alone operate the coffee machine.

technically speaking, computers don't deal in decimal, it's binary... the day counter saves it as a 16-bit number in the game file... so technically it could go to 1111111111111111 or in decimal conversion... starting at 0 of course, would be 65,535 days max :D
