Heretic... What'd you do, watch it at noon with a bunch of your friends,, popcorn, and the lights all on? I watched it in seventh grade from about ten o'clock at night to midnight, completely noiseless... Scared the pants off me.

I actually watched at about 11h30 at night.

And it didn't mess with your head? At all? WHAT? Either you think on such a higher plane of existance that this was all obvious to you from the start, or else you're retarded... One or the other... Unless of course you just don't tend to analyze things at all Still, even if it isn't scary, it does mess with your head, right?

I saw a trailer for that bunny web site at the movie theatre several times. The trailer was for their version of Jaws. They didn't show anything of the actual movie, just had the creator saying "yeah it's a short film with a bunny Jaws, blah blah blah". Now I know what it was.

They have a whole stash of them- I particularly liked War of the Worlds... Still, pretty good... And Han shot first in the outtakes!

I love all these links. And DT you shall find it hard to get a film that scares me. The lasts that mad me jump were Nosferatu and 28 Days Later.

What about The Ring? Pretty freaky movie, there... And there was that screamer vid I got you with a little bit ago...

I wasn't impressed with The Ting. I don't scare very easily. Not for nothing, but the all-time best horror movie is the original version of The Shining. Jack's acting in it's very, very best. But of recent movies, I was impressed with Saw (not the sequel though). Saw had a edge-of-your-seat tenseness, and the ending: magnificently impossible to ever guess. I don't know a person who wasn't blown away with Saw. Also, I found The Skeleton Key to have a very nice "twisty" ending that I sure didn't see coming.

 

Now there is one recent movie that actually gave me nightmares. Don't laugh, but the movie was The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Now I didn't find it scary in the least (I actually thought it boring). But in the movie there is a signifigance that at like 3:00am or so is the "spirit hour", so in the movie, every night at 3am, something would happen. Well for some subconcious reason, I found myself awake in bed that night, unable to sleep, until after 3. I wasn't scared of the movie, but for some reason, I had this fear of going to sleep before 3am. That was very freaky, but it only lasted two nights, then I was fine.

I liked Saw. I haven't seen Saw 2 yet. I also like the Final Destination trilogy. All I'm going to say about the new one is after the second accident I was sitting on the very edge of my seat, leaning forward, just WAITING for the next, then the next, and the next.... It was AWESOME!

I always find that a good horror movie is one that can stop you going to sleep at night. In that respect found Nosferatu to be very good, the freaky music, the monster which actually did look scary and all the other stuff adds to be a rather scary movie.

28 days later is also good in the way that the tention is always present... Even once the film is finished.

Quick question: What was Saw about? And by the way, I fixed that post, BS... Wasn't paying much attention when I tried to type by touch that first time...

Saw is an awesome movie. It's basicly about a man who frowns upon people who "hate life" or "take it for granted". So he kidnaps them and then places them in a room where they must solve a puzzle. If they succeed, they live. If they fail, then the trap in the room will kill them. Also, in order to solve the riddle of their perdiciment, the victim must usually inflict pain upon him/herself in order to escape. A very tense and awesome flick!

I liked 28 Days Later also. A very decent zombie movie. I remember the one thing that freaked me out was the old fat lady. She was totally gruesome.

Saw has just been put on my "must see" movie list.

 

Has anyone seen the remake of Dawn of the Dead? Is it any good?
