On one end yout rade length for force meaning that you push down over a great distance to lift something with less efforet, but on the other side you trade force for length and must apply a great deal of energy to barely lift something. Am I right? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
January 29, 200620 yr The answer to the riddle is in the riddle. As for that elephant joke, I heard that on an episode of Sincities the other night. There was one other bad joke but I couldn't remember it. I like the new sig, Wraith! Thanks. I thought it was quite neat. If a tree falls in the forest, quit staring at it and move out of the way.
January 29, 200620 yr The answer to the riddle is: heavyIf you spell heavy backwards it doesn't read heavy anymore http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

January 29, 200620 yr Not quite right Mad, but on the right trail. If a tree falls in the forest, quit staring at it and move out of the way.
January 29, 200620 yr Author You right-brained freaks. hehe, you're never going to hear a normal person say that! Hmm... I still like my lever idea- it technically works... So we're looking for a palendrome, sort of? A Man a plan a canal panamA. Spell it in reverse and you get the same... Hmm, so is it a short word or a long one, and is it one used regularly or one which is obscure? Also, is 'heavy' being used in the sense of weight, or perhaps density? ... Must come up with my own riddle/joke to contribute some time after this one is done... Mayhaps this one: What herb will cure all non-lethal wounds? thyme 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
January 30, 200620 yr What herb will cure all non-lethal wounds? My first guess was marijuana. But that is the answer every former pothead will give you. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
January 30, 200620 yr With regard to the elephant joke: Do you guys also know why elephants have trunks?
January 30, 200620 yr So they can better reach the trees? EDIT: Hey, I had just woke up, not all there yet. Edited January 30, 200620 yr by Defender_16

January 30, 200620 yr Author *Groans* Should've seen that! Anyway, here's my riddle again: What herb will heal all non-lethal wounds? thyme As in everyone else's case, the answer is in the riddle, though not in the way you might be expecting it to be. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
January 30, 200620 yr Good job Mad. No, smartlunch! Because sheep don't come with strings! Scath that was freekin' hilarious. As for Tofu's riddle I was thinking aloe vera, but then I don't think that's an herb. If a tree falls in the forest, quit staring at it and move out of the way.
January 30, 200620 yr Author I found another joke in reader's digest that is garunteed to make you all groan! (BTW, the answer really isin the riddle... Though just looking won't help ) Anyways: Feeling horrible, and alligator goes to the veteranarian. When asked what's wrong he replies that he is having difficulty hunting and getting motivated. The doctor nods and hands him some pills which he says are very similar to viagra. Surprised, the gator says, "Woah, doc, it ain't that kind of problem! Why are you giving me these?" The doctor replies, "Well, its very simple. You see, you have a reptile dissfunction." *Falls on the floor laughing* Edited January 31, 200620 yr by DarthTofu 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

January 31, 200620 yr No Tofu. We don't have to admit it's funny. I didn't find it to be so. I won't say that it wasn't funny, bc no one should ever say that. January 31, 200620 yr Mitth, are you high or something? Nope. Bored. Losing what little bit of my mind I have left. Never high though. I was just saying that I didn't find your joke to be funny. Then I shared something that I learned at a comedy/acting workshop that I went to back in HS. Perhaps I should have mentioned that in the last post.
