I tworks because. don't question. new randomly invented character with random special abilitys that everyone wil refer to by species as opposed to by name." Come on, guys, it's like reading a Tom Clancy novel without any technobable. It just doesn't work!

You may not like Zahn but you must admit he writes some of the best SW novels.

How did I trash Clancy? He's like, the best author ever. Well, after a couple of others, but still... However I still just don't like how under-explained Zahn's work was... That and he seemed like a realy predjudiced guy. Call me a Star Wars geek, but I don't really think you would yell "HEy, you! Yeah, the Gotal! Come over here, Gotal. Okay, Gotal, can you help me to kill this Barabell? Okay, then Gotal!" You would learn his name and use it- not refer to him by species.
