Hey! It's that person that was on all of the old forum topics that I read when I got really bored that one time! Tofu, resident newbie to the forums who holds no technical skills, at your service .

Hey, it must be getting cold outside, since all the old faces huddle together again inside the forum, to heat up the posting frequency again

::sigh:: This is odd. I visit these forums around 4 times a day, swapping models and stuff. I've been here almost a year now and I have less than 500 posts, while Tex, Rob, and Tofu joined in the summer, and Tofu is up to three times my post count. I need to start posting more often, otherwise I'll never make Admiral

LOL! i joined last year and only have 500 posts

Alot of people (myself included, when I was but a junior officer) get lots of posts by simply making short comments in any topic they can. A low rank and post count certainly doesn't make you a less valued member of the community!

I'm was here during the spam period of the forums. It helped my post count alot.

Although every once in awhile I get an "itchy trigger finger" (mostly due to DarthTofu ), I try to keep my comments pertinent. I prefer quality comments to quantity

Look on the bright side- none of you were sitting near me for the 2 1/2 hour trip to Disney that our band took last night to perform in... So now I have two tickets Disney that expire in a year good for any park... We already have two good tickets from Christmas a couple of years ago, but my family numbers five... Well, lets try to get this back on track. Does anyone have a list of what ranks are available and at what post count? I figure its somewhere, but I dont really feel like flipping through all 58 pages of this topic.

If you did you shall discover that the idea of this thread is to get promoted and therefore to post. That is why there is quite a good amount of nonsense in this thread.

I should be promoted, why? For no real reason just that it would make me feel good to know that Tofu (Who joined several months after me) won't beat me to 1000 posts, unless he already has in which case I will go cry.

As of right now, he is only 9 away. I second Aenivae's motion, only to further screw Tofu.

Surprisingly, the majority of the pages in this thread are related to the topic. Many of them are discussing how a new ranking system would be organised, or debating Dr. Saxton's rank system etc. All-in-all, I think this thread is generally productive (well, it was ).

Okay, here's the big secret as to why I'm almost to 1,000 and you're only at 300-some: I log on at regular intervals and post when I feel like I have something to say. I'm starting to get the feeling that you guys think I'm spamming. I don't consider myself to be spamming: I just see something and feel that I have something to add to it, so I add to it. Really, if you met me in real life you would realize that this is just my personality; it's almost impossible to get me to shut up.
