July 22, 200521 yr You don't need to goto Ebay! This site is very friendly to illeagle activity! Didn't you see the warm greeting that one guy asking for a digital copy of Rebellion got? Anyway, just because I say it whenever I say anything: check http://www.half.com for Rebellion. You get stuff very cheap there. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
July 23, 200521 yr LucasArts should just set it up so you can buy a download of the game online. Kind like those music sites. They could sell the game for 4 or 5 dollars. ...or we could all make a few more "backup" copies of the game. Seriously I don't have that many backups.... just enough to use for /IP games on my LAN.
November 11, 200520 yr http://store.lucasarts.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=3616;category_id=100529 You can buy this new re-release Rebellion from Lucas Arts official website store. But it is 30 USD. Ships on November 15, 2005. I guess the EAW is stirring up interest in the game.
November 11, 200520 yr Is the re-release any different from the original version 1.0, or are there better graphics or something? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
November 11, 200520 yr looks like the same game. Sort of like a "Greatest hits" title for Ps2 but without the price cut Count Dooku is the strongest Star Wars character as depicted in the movies. All hail Christopher Lee.

I'm sure it's just a second "printing" of what was released years ago. They probably just finished selling off the original batch produced, and now there's additional interest because of EAW. Hopefully you get a fresh brand spanking new manual, poster & CD (I sure hope it's not just the jewel case with CD only, that would really suck! ) Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?
November 12, 200520 yr If it was just the Jewl case then they'd be selling it for about $5 in Walmart bargain bins. That price would support the cost of the manual..
November 14, 200520 yr True, but remember, we are talking about GL, leader of the evil-money-hungry-corporation Lucasfilms/Lucasarts who won't even give up source code to a graphically obsolete, dead-ended game (i.e. no "EASY" modability) that makes one bend over backwards just to tweak game data to keep the fun and thrill. November 14, 200520 yr My manual got soaked in a leaky roof. I would like to have a new one. At that price you would think it has a paper manual, unless it is on the CD as electronic form. I tried to examine the code. That is fun indeed . I think we could modify it to allow the AI to be smarter if we had open source code. Unless EAW is borrowing some of it.
