So, you sure found some strings, pics or even voices, that are never used by Rebellion. I just wish to collect these, and maybe we could figure it out, where these belong to.

I have browsed with ResHack, and I've found the following "egg like" string:

Luke has been greatly effected by the encounter and has gone into hiding.

Does anybody know, how it could happen?

That string must be probably linked to the "Hermitage" string somewhere else.

I guess that somehow luke must face vader or palpy, probably before he is fully trained so he will be "deeply affected".

There are thing that I've never ahd seen before like this, the millenium falcon in the fighter textures, etc...

So hiding means, he escaped the battle?

Yes, I guess he escape the confrontation, but did not return to Rebel service, he turned hermit.

This is only a theory about this.

Perhaps someone else would shares his thoeries. Abotu this or the millenium Falcon or the picture of two people lowering a flag...

Whoa! Having the falcon in tactical combat!!! Such a catarsis

If you want to see it just use resource hacker to extract the 4044 in the 303 folder in the tactical.dll. Then use vadunkok's converter.

Got to say, i'm very curious about some of the dlls Resource Hacker reveals, like the 'lowering flag,' refered to. I have a theory about it which goes as follows: Empire looses Coruscant, Alliance does the old diplomatic charm, Empire takes Coruscant back-hence picture! This occurance has never happened in any game i've played, so if it's occured in someone's; speak, and my theory's wrong.

I wish I could see this in a battle. But I think, the game doesn't use this bmp...

oh...anything new found?

Well, this was new for me too, but no not yet...

Last time i tried, the link on the download page wasn't working, is it up now?

Wich download?

Here's a funny String I've found in textstra:

36992, "Commander Palpatine"

He's sure one good pilot... Super Jedi Top Ace

yeah..I noticed Palpatine's capability as an admiral/commander/general as well; curious how it was scripted into the game...I guess the game-designers had larger ideas than the final project...

i agree

I guess it's up to us now to complete that project..
