Well, anyone got any other suggestions for new graphics? I went through the EZboard archives yesterday and thought maybe we can have little star wars icons (heads?) next to our names.. for example Thrawn would have a little blue guy next to his name.

Good luck for finding 3200 little heads.

Exept if you want to find a system where you receive a little head only after you will have made a certain amount of posts.

Well, you guys could always just build your own emoticons.

 

As for the color scheme, how about having different skins in say the user options, with several different color schemes. That way each individual user could see the site they way they wanted to.

I was wondering about the that as well. But it may be a bit complicated to set up.

Normaly depends on how many mods the site is running! Subsilver or subblack may be the default used and all the mods coded to that. If you want to bring in another template afterwards it will require what can be a major update for the new template. Without this the mods you have on the site will not work.

Not an easy job if you have quite a few mods or changes.

Here's a couple of answers::

 

Should we stick with small fonts defined on the site? Vote on POLL: Let people decide for themselves.

 

Do you like the aqua/blue on black color scheme? Or would you rather see some different colors?: Colors could be better. Maybe several color schemes to chose from?

 

Should the site expand to all widths? Or should it be optimized for 1024x768 resolution? 800x600?: This isn't a primary issue, as far as I'm concerned.

 

Do you want some new graphics?: Yes!

I love the new site design. The new SWR card of the day thing is nice.

I always thought a more "viewer friendly" color scheme would be nice. Lighter colors, and less dark for a more easier viewing site. But other that that I enjoy it immensly. Do whatever your creative brain thinks is right, and I will be right along with you.

I am quite happy with the current color scheme. I also have no problem with the current text size. But I will support any changes that everyone else might prefer.

I really think that a selectable color scheme would be a good idea.

This is off topic--as usual--but is there is a Venator-class Star Destroyer card now for the game? If there is, I couldn't find it...

If you really want one it shouldn't be hard to create.

I am not sure if any of you are Gamspotviewers or not, but their sit does offer a great graphical representation of what I am talking about. That link to their site is the easier viewing layout over their darker themed "normal" site.

Why don't we do something like this.

Each has a rating going from one to ten

We add up all the ratings of one card maker and divide it by the amount fo cards. This gives us his average rating.

The Card maker with the greatest average rating receives the title of

"Best Card Maker".

The one who has made the most cards receives the title of

"Most Productive Card Maker"

And if somebody has both titles he receives the title of

"Best Overall Card maker"

 

Just an idea that could be developed

Hmm not a bad idea. Though I think EW would probably have everyone beat in terms of Most Productive

 

Maybe with every new batch you put only we could selectm one as being

"Card of the Batch"

 

The Idea of using an average of the rating would help encourage card makers to keep the same quality inall their cards and not make one good one among lots of crappy ones.

We could expand that sort of thing to include best/mostproductive in the model stakes as well...
