Just wondering: How artsy does this community feel? Who of you has an artist inside of him? I know LaForge is quite on the Art side of the Force, and so am I, and there's a lot of awesome modellers here as well.

 

Who else? Anyone got anything to show? I want to see just how much art there is in the people around here. Yes, I want this to be the SWR community Art Gallery Thread. Drawings, paintings, pieces of pasta glued to canvas - post it!

Not much of an of drawer unless it's scretchy designs, though I do a bit of modelling - umm, the only prob is other than 3d models I'm making for Rebellion, I only have this picture on this computer. Which is pretty much just playing around with textures/materials.

 

I'll have to look on my PC some time for others, unless you wanna see Rebellion models?

I am far from bewing good at drawing but I like 3d modelling. Does that count? Me and a mate are working on an animated movie

And does anyone know how to animate good muzzle flashs in 3ds max? ie how to make a a gun look like its firing.

This is one thread i was quite interessted in but never understood its use.

I have therefore decided to revive it.

The use of this thread? Posting anything creative here. Pictures, photos, renders, poems, whatever you got. Built a 3D-model not for use in Rebellion and think it won't fit in any other section? Post it here! Drawn or painted a picture? POST IT!

I wish I had artistic talent...stick figures is about the limit I have when it comes to my abilities as an artist. That doesnt stop me from appreciating other people's work.

Mad78: I have now not just had a conversation with Salvador Dali, but have also left with a smile!

Just did this, based on (and shamelessly painted over) a magnificent pencil sketch found on the internet. Meant for a Zsinj card, but I'm thinking it looks a bit too painted. Anyway, clearly not finished, and I'm not sure about the uniform either. What insignia to give him and should I stick with brown?
