Maybe GL has plans for an evil Anakin spirit in his sequels television series?!

Oh goodness. Like Godfather IV: Attack of the Vito Corleone Clones?

My special edition VHS set also has the ISD getting hit by a asteroid in the bridge area. Unless you are talking about the original then i dunno

Well, both the original and the special edition have that scene....

That would be Vito Cloneones!

Well, both the original and the special edition have that scene.... All edition seem to have an awkwardly number of scenes in common...

Well with my new DVD drive and boxed DVD set of Star Wars can at last contribute to this topic. Rah! Having spent all of today 'catching up,' on modified original Star Wars viewing, I finally got to the end of Return of the Jedi with Hayden materializing and to my horror DIDN'T MIND!

I haven't actually seen the movies looking so rich since the beginning quite frankly, and have had nothing but a very happy day reliving a glimpse of the original innocence I experianced when my father took me to see the first one in 77 or whenever it was. Magical.

For a couple of years now, i've been at the mercy of dodgy Chinese DVD pirates taken from laser disk, and realize how much i've been robbed of GL's broader vision as a consequence. I'll be binning them now; GL has at last given me access to the movies I love so much, with 1000% more quality.

I cant believe more people hated the spirit change at the end instead of that lame Jabba the Hutt palace song thing they put in. Also...Greedo shooting first is to me probably one of the worst changes Lucas ever made and it should be changed back.

I loved it and when i rewatched it I smiled through out the hole thing

Besides an obvious visual improvement, i'm still a bit mystified as to what chnages there are..

several scenes and small things such as the voices of the stormtroopers (so I hear) and that of Boba Fett.

In the new DVD collection, in the "Empire Strikes Back" film, when Leia, Lando and Chuwie are running around the corridors of Cloud city trying to escape, they have replaced the corridor walls with windows, showing out-side to the city scenery..

I found the way the remade cloud city very good.

I have to say "A New Hope's" starfighter scenes when they are assualting the base are pretty cool, along with the big fight at the second death star

I didn't find the battle scene in ROTJ changed that much but the one in ANH is Absolutely fabulous!

Well, both the original and the special edition have that scene.... :?/quote] All edition seem to have an awkwardly number of scenes in common...

What's this?!

And, mind you, the -icon is because you didn't fry me...

I'm ashamed of you...

You're talking to yourself?

You know Trej i think it's time the droid got a Memory purge

I think you are right. Probably has multiple conflicting personalities in that rusty 12MB HDD of his.

Sigh... You really want me to get into this?

He's never been the same since he plugged himself into a power switch on cloud city...

What's this?! Pick on the Astromech day?!

Every day is Pick on the astromech day.

Check you out of age HD.

What's this?! Pick on the Astromech day?!

It was one of the funniest moments in the movies when C3-P0 defended his suggestion...
