Well, I went to the Zone at MSN and there's no one playing Force Commander. I don't even know if it's still possible to play. I don't do MP but it was kind of nice to see that people still play.

 

I don't it have it on my hard drive anymore but will load it again at some point. I couldn't get past the mission where you're on the ground with Luke, Leia, Chewie, R2, C3PO. I kept getting my butt kicked whenever I met up with a AT-ST. With the system I have now, I could probably play it at 1600x1200 with AA enabled! My rig even eats up JKII. I finished JKII but didn't get the urge to play again - I actually liked the SW feel of JK better.

 

Anybody still have FC on their hard drive? Anybody still play? Haven't posted in any SW-related forum for months and thought I'd come here to see I could feel a bit of the force...

Someone has (read: stole) my CD2 so I can't install it anymore.. I never did many missions..

Maybe I should go after it again, I always very much enjoyed Focom!

Whenever I played it, it lagged like hell... so I just gave up.

Yea, it takes a while to load unless you have a top-of-the-line system.. well, at least when it was released. Oh well, they need to tweak the graphics engine like Homeworld and it would be fine.

No, I mean lag... as in bad latency time. It was awful..!

I've got it but i don't play online.

I have it aswell but have not played it in years. If an interest was taken in it again for on-line play then i would join in.

I haven't come to that mission with Leia, Chewie and the others, but my savegames are still backed up. And I definately feel the urge to play as well. But since I don't have a cheap and fast internet connection I rarely play online anymore.

I've played the first couple of missions and wasn't too impressed so i went out and bought Starfighter and the X-wing Tie-fighter and XvT.

I hate FC
