September 8, 200422 yr the mod doesn't work with the demo, i tried last week, n just went out n bought homeworld 2 over the weekend since it's so cheap great mod!
September 12, 200422 yr Maybe one day, if this mod becomes so very popular perhaps it would be smart to start getting the word out. I have told my brother about it and he got it and his friend went and got it after he saw the mod too. It seems it's beginning to grow from a quiet mod to a talked about and recognised amoung different communities and not just star-wars related ones. In my opinion I think anyone looking for a good space sim and already owning HW2 would love SWW because it offers all that is needed for a space RTS and gorgeous graphics and ship detail. September 13, 200422 yr I think after seeing this MOD and reading this forum, I will buy HomeWorld 2 as my next game instead of Battlefront. I am much more of an RTS/Space battle fan myself, rather than FPS. I am glad I found this site.
September 13, 200422 yr Not to bash Eville's work (because I love the mod), but if you're going to buy a game, make it Battlefront! I know that Warlords is what we've all been waiting for, but Homeworld2 is an old game, and it's not going to go anywhere, nor is anything new going to be done with it. So, I would suggest getting Battlefron, then, when Homeworld 2 drops to a reasonable price (which was probably four months ago) grab it too! History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
