Interseting...now we have a proper debate kicked into being! I shall start by stating: in all cinematic history I have never been exposed to such a dreadfull, crap, and all-round suicide-induicing movie as 'Battlefield Earth.' It wasn't simply absolutely crap, I was wincing at at the actors participating in it's crapness. Part of me almost felt some element of sypathy for them and their bastard so-called agents who got them involved in this trash. And I say they that with at least an ounce of reasonable reflection on this waste of time. Err... umm... October 1, 200422 yr Yes, he's in it... maybe that's why the movies was so bad? I'm glad I didn't waste the $11 to go and see it in the theater, I waited until it was on video. The original book was alright, it as the movie that ruined the story. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
