Getting an entire army of mercs would probably be difficult, they're more suited to a supportive role I'd imagine.

Yeah, I suppose they sort of boost the strenght of your existing armie. But if you were an Emperor, you could afford to ahve an armie of Mercs, or at least a regiment.

Bah, Zsinj was afool, a pretender to the Grand Admiral's uniform. It would be smarter to hire experienced people and coordinate your attacks with them. Superior numbers combined with superior tactics will pretty much always win.
