Some planets do not have a refinery bonus. Odds are that is one of those planets. is there some way to tell before building refineries? or you just have to build 1 first and see if it works?

sorry if this has been asked before but it seems like refineries don't always work in providing crystal. the first time this happened i thought it was just a random glitch but ive seen it again recently on one of the planets that you "need arctic exploration" to colonize which had about 6 crystal extractors and about 4 metal ones. i built a bunch of refineries to try and get more crystal but they only seemed to provide metal.

After this update I had a full 8 military 8 civilian structures already built at the start of the game, and they were all on a single planet somehow. None of the logistics research was done on any of the starting planets either. Not sure if this was done on purpose or not. Does it have anything to do with the "quickstart" option?

Venator is showing up just fine on my end, not sure what issues you are having. Can you give me more details on this CTD? it was the ACRS capital ship. i will try play again to make sure it was just that and not all venators. on the CTD, there are no other details. if no one else is crashing then we might assume its just my system. edit: it's working fine now. weird, before it looked exactly like the empty texture for the MC60. not sure what the problem was.

after this update the venator texture is gone. also i have been getting crash-to-desktop since the last 2 updates maybe. no minidump message, just CTD.
