Really nice idea, that would make a really cool mod. And the basics of it wouldn't be difficult to do and then only some story like missions to unlock new techs or something, yeah your idea is awesome! I hope we'll see this in any mod

I think this won't work properly, because STORY_CONSTRUCT checks only if an object/unit has been build, yet, but while you're building Boba your enemy could build him as well. Of course the chance that this happens becomes smaller if you set a lower build time. And then one last thing that I'm not sure about: You'd have to put a STORY_CONSTRUCT event and an event that disables the build option for the hero also in the AI's story files. I'm not sure if this works.

Since I'm working on a campaign at the moment I might have a look at this, too. But it's shame that such a good mod with great ideas died

I found this in campaigns_underworld_gc.xml: Rebel, 4 the rebels only tech up when you've bought all new units right? what if you change the max tech level to 5 and add new units for tech level 5? Do the rebels have a new tech level then?

Not only rebel's. I just had the same bug with the empire >. But if it's a bug in the game everything is okay .

I had a really strange bug with my mod when I played it the last time: The Consortium corrupted one of my planets and placed a fleet in the orbit of this planet. The first strange thing was that the space battle did not start. Then I send a fleet to attack the consortium fleet and the battle started. Then it became really strange because my rebel level 4 space station was suddenly replaced with a consortium level 4 space station. After I won the battle it said that I had lost a level 4 station. What could be wrong there?? ???

After recoding the providence it still goes through other units when I call it as reinforcement .

I didn't convert it, I used Keeper_of_Faith' model on eawfiles.com. Is there a way to fix this with xml?

I have a problem with a Providence that I've added to the game: It always flies through other ships. How can I fix this problem?

I have another question: I found basicempireplayer.xml and basicempirenogalacticai.xml. Is the first one for the AI player in GC and the second for skirmish? Sorry for double post; I wanted to edit the last one.

I have a few problems with my mod: 1. I created a Firespray Squadron with the ability of the T4B tank "Rocket_Attack". I want them only to attack space stations and battleships with the rockets. How can I do that? 2. I have added a Dreadnought to the game. When they come out of Hyperspace they spawn too close. What could be the reason for that?

Of course . Are there any more Models of Frigates to use?

I downloaded some of Keeper of Faith' models from eawfiles and coded them in the game. But when they are destroyed their death clones don't disappear. What could be wrong?

1. Modding EaW and FoC is almost the same. 2. If you want to add a hero: - add your hero to NamedHeroUnits.xml, Herocompanies.xml, if it uses a Unique Unit add this Unit to UniqueUnits.xml - type in Story_Sandbox_[gcname]_[faction name].xml where your hero should spawn

Really a cool Model I think I will use it in my Mod ;D

Maybe the reason is that I used the Star Destroyer Code and just changed what I needed for the Executor and the Eclipse.

I only found GUI_Bounds_Scale but I think that's what you meant. I set it smaller but it did not fix the problem .

I have a little problem: I put the Eclipse and the SSD into GC. Always when I put antother ship in one fleet with the Eclipse and start a space battle my ships are distributed over the whole map. How can I fix it?
