I was thinking of maybe getting the SSD to have the assault ability that Thrawn does, but so far it hasnt worked for a new person to modding (myself) the SSD is a tricky unit

Patch 1.01 for FOC is now out and ready to play: ftp://ftp.lucasarts.com/patches/pc/FOCUpdate1_1.exe Yet, a bug already. Mandalore's space map in GC is still messed up. Ships hyper in from the west of the map, but they should be facing north, as the radar map indicates when an ISD or SSD enters the battle from its direction. This makes this map harder, or easier, depending on how you play it. But its still a bug they took no notice of fixing.

I've been adding new units to FOC recently, then one day my MTD Extractor decides to be... stupid. So I cant add any more icons. "It appears to be corrupt and read only" apparently. Anyone know what to do to get around this... gayness?

I've used KOF's model for the Providence Cruiser from filefront, and added it into FOC. I have converted it to FOC format so the model works fine, however, I'm having some trouble with the hardpoints. Jedi_Consulor got it working in EAW, but whats going wrong in FOC? I'm not arguing, just stating facts. I would give credit, but I did not use the Ozzel one, nor Needa. LOW make good mods and I would credit your work if I used it. I used it to begin with, but changed it later on to the final version in my Mod. The icons helped me, but in the final version, were not used. In the commandbar there is the LOW Ozzel, but it is not used in the Mod itself. I know you don't care but hey, I can't give credit for something I didn't use. I made the other icons with help from Jedi_Consulor, and he can vouch for it. Why would I use other icons when I can do this. The only credits I would add are: -LOW for the Admiral Ozzel icon which helped me implement my final Ozzel icon which, as you can see is different to that in the LOW v0.7 FOC Mod. -CIS v4.1 for the Captain Needa icon which helped me implement my final Needa icon which may appear to be identical, yet made by me. Here is the Ozzel Icon in the LOW Patch : http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/4346/ozzzzgl9.png And in mine: http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/1705/oziesy9.png I dont see how they are identical. If I could compare the LOW Needa with mine I would, but as I said, I didnt know LOW released one. If they did, I cant find it. -
lol He was a Moff and Commander (I looked on Wikiepeida that he could be addressed by either title since he was a Moff, govenor over a portion of space, and Commander, since he commanded the DSII) He was ordered by the Emperor to use the DS II on the forest Moon of Endor when its shield was deactivated, but as the battlestation was turning to fire, it was destroyed by Wedge and Lando and that is how he met his end

If you downloaded the Mod you would see that I used the one Jedi_Consulor helped me make. Pictures of Needa posing like that are very easy to come by, I wonder why all the icons look the same. I wasnt even aware LOW released a Needa Icon, only heros I know of are Ozzel and Fel. -

No, in the final release it was my Ozzel Icon, (please see screenshot in other topic final release) and my Needa Icon. Although everyone's Needa looks the same anyway, yours, mine, Conflicts in Space 4.1, and a French Mod I downloaded. True, I did start out with the Ozzel LOW Icon, but to use it to help me understand how to Mod and add icons. If I had taken anything from LOW I would have asked permission first, if I had got it, I would have credited LOW in the Mod. Please download the Mod to see for yourself the icons first hand. Only that way will you see. (Or glance over the other Imperial Warlords release thread) -
Whats with the criticism.... Im new here... have 4 weeks modding experience and still have alot to learn. Most new modders after 4 weeks can just about work out the XML Files. If you don't like my mods or cant be civil I'll just take them down and be on my merry way. This Mod only adds a hero. Not at all related to the Warlords Mod. I would have deleted my old topic but I can't. Thats what moderators are for : One topic was a progress post, the other to announce its release. Ground TIE, Ground V-Wing, Ground X-Wing. My Mods.

This Mod adds the hero: Moff Jerjerrod for the Empire faction in FOC (Jerjerrod is the commander seen in Episode VI who is in command of the construction of the Second Death Star.) He has the same abilities as Grand Moff Tarkin, but does not replace him, he works with him. Moff Jerjerrod is only available at Tech Level 2 and above for the Empire during the Galactic Conquest: Equal Footing (The big 55 Planet map,) Because this is the scenario to where he is best suited.
